Yes, congrats! Call me stupid, but can I download and read the pdf on my laptop?
You can absolutely read it from your laptop; netbook; I-Pad; and I belief you can even read it on your cell phone. It's just like any other document that you may have to download like forms or memos. Kindle and Amazon require special formatting and take a portion for commissions. I may have to raise the price when I publish from them.
Also -- the money I get from the PDF books will pay for printing some copies of the real book or for a self-publishing agency.
Of course, if I strike the interest of a literary agent, that would be awesome!
